Lull Telehandlers
Since 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their machines have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system provides a lot more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide different optional attachments and these telehandlers can really help you complete your requirements, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. If accuracy and precision are really important, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible, many attachments have been engineered and made such as booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to position materials more accurately. The articulating booms or booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures so as to place loads on interior roof slope settings or in the upper or center floors. New products and attachments are being made and engineered all the time and will be available in the future.
Many improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. Like for example, load-reach management devices can automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized in order to know the weight of the load. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the boom's extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device which prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
