Genie telescopic S-booms have a horizontal reach of between 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters and working heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters. Compared with different other aerial work platforms, telescoping booms have a a range of horizontal reach that is much greater. Genie telescopic booms are designed with consideration to being able to access confined places during industrial and construction applications. They are also known for their ability to maneuver through a job site rapidly and with great drive speed and traction. The platform turns 160° hydraulically and is able to stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for tools and operators and are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters. 360° continuous rotating turntables offer operators quick, easy positioning.
The Z-135/70 unit comes outfitted with a Jib-Extend, which is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This specific unit could also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach tasks that were unreachable by conventional jibs before. A secondary reverse-articulating boom on the Z-80/60 unit gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This feature enables up and over reaching tasks to be done with zero front arm swing.
The Fast Mast System built by Genie allows for time to be saved when both primary and secondary booms platform has to either be lowered or lifted without needing to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system allows both booms to be fully elevated at the same time. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features lessens the time needed for users to ascend and descend, increasing production and efficiency.
