The narrow aisle forklift has been manufactured to work in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the aisle width. Yale makes the double reach NDR and single reach NR models which are used for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks manufactured by Yale apply best-in-class ergonomics and provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has various control handle and stance configurations.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To meet a wider variety of operations, there are numerous control handle configurations such as the aft stance, the choice of fore, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: This technology provides powerful acceleration and deceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been made for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of loads transported during a shift.
Reach & Mast Assembly: The tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the rigidity and durability of the mast; along with the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life as well as the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: Yale offers industry leading lowering speeds and these uploaded speeds really improve the overall throughput and production.
Regenerative Lowering: Though regenerative lowering could reduce battery changes per shift it also functions to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: In order to really reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the technician can adjust the steer effort so as to reduce operator fatigue. During the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also called very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks. These machinery are made for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors lift both the operator and the load to its required height. This height can be more than 30 feet. Like most turret trucks they are normally guided by wire or rail when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
